A variety of products will be derived from master panels/billets 1.25m wide, 19mm through to 140mm thick and up to 2.25m long. These master panels/billets are then cut to size as required.
Lignor’s products are ideal for flooring, bearers, joists, headers, beams, columns, roof rafters, flanges and potentially broader applications such as window frames and solid doors. Other possible applications are:
- I Beams. ESL® is used for the top and bottom flanges of the beam, while ESB® is used for the vertical webbing joining the two flanges together creating a homogenous structure unlike other I-Beams which use disparate products;
- Concrete Formwork ESB® is strong and water resistant;
- Exterior Posts and Beams;
- Truss Components requiring high strength values;
- Container and truck trailer floors;
- Commercial and Domestic hardwood floors where ESB® provides superior wear and water resistance over alternative softwood-based and most hardwood-based flooring products; and
- ESL® (cut at 90 degrees to billet plane, then tongue and grooved and surface finished) is an ideal alternative to dressed timber floorboards and decking.
